Rocci Business of the Year awarded

Gauteng: Lithotech Labels, a division of Lithotech (Pty) Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Bidvest Group, has won the coveted Gold Award at the annual Roodeport Chamber of Commerce (ROCCI) Business of the Year awards.

After a lengthy and intensive judging process of the 68 nominees, Lithotech Labels was awarded first place in the Corporate, Listed and Group Companies category. Judging criteria was based on Financial Performance, Social Development and Involvement, BEE Status and Initiatives, Staff Training and Development Programmes, Innovation and Future Growth Opportunities.

The adjudicators, The Institute of Public Accountants of South Africa, were highly complimentary of Lithotech Labels’ achievements, mentioning factors such as exemplary management and outstanding manufacturing infrastructures which cemented the prestigious award for the company.
Managing Director of Lithotech Labels, Rafeek Evans enthuses, “We are extremely proud of the win, especially as it was the first time we were nominated. This award is welcome recognition for the work we do, and hope it encourages other businesses to enter similar competitions.
